Dr. Bruce B. Henry

Dr. Bruce Henry is the owner and founder of Texas Family Healthcare PA, located at Medical City Dallas. He is board certified in Family Medicine, a member of the Royal College of General Practice (UK), and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. He is a clinical professor of Family and Community Medicine at UTSW Medical Center. Dr. Henry's practice focus is comprehensive patient care for all ages. His patients appreciate that he is always mindful of the biological, social, and spiritual process directed at problem solving, health maintenance, and disease prevention. His practice is open 6 days a week with evening appointments, walk-in, and work-in availability.

During his spare time, Dr. Henry has a love for the dog world and currently sits as the President of the King Charles Cavaliers club. His wife Shirley and he have a total of four children and eight grandchildren.

Rachna Patel, PA-C

Rachna Patel, PA-C has been practicing as a Physician Assistant at Texas Family Healthcare PA since 2006. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Baylor University. Her professional interests include preventative medicine and management of chronic diseases.

Rachna was born and raised in Texas and is fluent in her native language Gujarati (Hindi dialect). She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her 3 children and husband. She is enthusiastic about serving the community.

Laura White PA-C

Laura White joined Texas Family Healthcare in 2020, but has been practicing as a Physician Assistant since 2004, working previously in family medicine, internal medicine, indigent care as well as in the emergency room setting. She completed her Masters in PA Studies at UT Southwestern in Dallas and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Austin College in Sherman. She is most passionate about diabetes, hypertension and weight loss management with a desire to work alongside her patients to help them achieve their ultimate health and wellness goals.

She was born and raised in Texas. She and her fun-loving husband have two boys. When she is away from work, she enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, snow skiing, volunteering at church, as well as traveling with her family.

Alicia Swindell FNP-C

Alicia Swindell is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a career in nursing spanning nearly two decades. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Since beginning her career in 2005, Alicia has cultivated a wealth of experience across various specialties, including urgent care, nephrology, and surgery. Her diverse background has equipped her with a broad clinical skillset and a deep understanding of patient needs.

Alicia is an active member of the North Texas Nurse Practitioners Organization and the Texas Nurse Practitioner Organization, reflecting her commitment to professional development and collaboration within her field.

Guided by a mission to provide compassionate, attentive, and comprehensive healthcare, Alicia emphasizes a patient-centered approach. She strives to build strong partnerships with her patients, empowering them to achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.
